Dear sir,

How one can calculate the input capacitance and output capacitance of a circuit? similarly input and output inductance and resistance.

I have observed in many documents, they mention and ask circuit's input and output parameters like resistance, capacitance and inductance.

Usually we measure only circuit input and output impedance which is simply the resistance offered by circuit at the input side when a power source is applied. It can be calculated using a multimeter when kept in resistance measurement mode.
