Hi..
I hav lpc 2148 dev board from nex Robotics. I m getting an error while loading hex file into it....it was working fine b4.......Some1 plz tell me how can I troubleshoot this prob...I think dev board has prob but m not sure ...wht r the possibilities I can go with?
Thanks in advance

It sounds like a serial link problem.
Does your board have enough power ?
At the PC end, are you using a USB to serial adapter
or an actual 9pin serial port ?
Which port is Flash Magic set to.... Com1, Com2 etc ?

Code which is already loaded is running fine...but when I go with another code its giving an error....so can I say power issue?
I am using actual serial 9 pin cable with COM1 in flash magic

Your board has two serial ports, are you connecting to the right one ?
It may be that your board does not support autobaud detection.
Is there a setting in Flashmagic to turn of autobaud detection ?
If so, turn it off.
Then try setting Flashmagic at all the common rates, say 2400
up to the maximum it supports.
Try another serial cable if possible.

I always prefer Olimex Dev boards when it comes to LPC series. They provide you schematics and sample codes that you can try out. So you can make your own schematic taking reference from their board + you can also check if you current dev board has some problem in ISP connections.
